I live in Mexico City and spend my time practicing Spanish and working on the projects I love:
- Recast is ridding the world of wasted marketing spend
- Analytics Engineers Club
teaches data analysts how to become analytics engineers
Before moving to Mexico City, I lived in NYC where I had the pleasure of leading the analytics and data science team at Harry’s the men’s grooming brand. My team built and managed the data warehouse, developed our internal marketing attribution tool, and developed a fleet of systems for automated decision-making to improve efficiency.
Before Harry’s, I worked as a data scientist at a not-for-profit organization building software for child welfare organizations. There I learned to write python and R and began thinking hard about how to build effective data-driven products. Trained as an econometrician, I studied environmental economics as an undergrad where I learned Stata and studied water demand in desert cities. After undergrad, I moved to Boston where I did research on health economic outcomes working primarily with pharmaceutical companies and developing statistical libraries for SAS.
